Touching up a few paint chips, already have the paint applied and used the Langka to lower the level of the paint, but want to finish sand with 2,000 grit, and then polish. Anything better that gluing little pieces of sandpaper to the end of a pencil eraser?

Try gluing slightly larger pieces to a used wine or champagne cork

I would go bigger just for the sake of not putting so much pressure on one concentrated area, compounding is one thing, sanding is a whole different animal.

Try the hand pads, griots makes a 3 inch.

Stay away from glue as well, you want your passes to be as fluent as possible. If the glue slips it will leave marks, you need water to sand - glue will break down esp with clear in the mix. Plus the time an aggravation.

Another idea is to cut out a very small round piece and glue it to the top of pencil eraser on a pencil for those very tight and small spots.

I agree with Driver. Just sand the whole area and be done with it
