I`m using a combo of M101 and HD Cut ("combo" as in both products on the same pad at the same time) and it`s working pretty well on Audi clear.

Interesting. What was the rationale behind that and what benefit has it given you?

jrock645- I was just experimenting; I *really* like the Cut but it`s not as aggressive as I`d like, so adding in some M101 helped in that regard. Also, the Cut has a longer work-time and dusts less, so besides wanting to only get as aggressive as I need to be (for timely results) I find it a better approach for what I`m doing (the `93 Audi, thin/fragile clear) than using M101 straight.

Interesting. Just used HD cut for the first time today. Only other compound I`d used was WG uber. HD is so much easier.

I asked because I have a coworker with an absolutely trashed 94 Mercedes that he wants done. Your trick might come in handy.

HD Cut is a great product, but it appears to be very pad-dependent. As I don`t have the optimal pads for it, I had to find something that`d work with what I do have. I`m still not completely dialed-in, but it got me through the current job just fine. Even works (relatively) well by hand.
