After spending most of my life in FL, and taking the 365 days of detailing for granted its time to prep the cars for winter here in WV. So here is my plan:

Acura TSX (black)

Blackfire GEP and one coat of BFWD, and a coat of BFCS a week later.
When it snows this car will not be driven.

Acura TL (white) And Honda CRV (bronze)

Duragloss 105 and Wolfgang Liquid Seal.

Now my questions is do yall think I should test out the Liquid Seal alone on one of the cars? Would it be strong enough to withstand the WV winter. Has anyone used BFCS alone for a winter sealant?

I would imagine those spray sealants as not being as durable as the BFWD. But what do I know, I still live in Florida ;)

I would look into Collinite Waxes or go with Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 for the winter months on a DD.

i love blackfire products, but for sheer staying power on a dd during the winter months, i`d have to go with Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax No. 845 (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/liquid-insulator-wax-845.html) . it`s on sale at ACC for a great price too.

Steve the last thing I need is another bottle of wax or sealant in the house....
Remember every time a Autopia or Autogeek box shows up at home, my wife shows up with another pair of shoes from the mall. :D

Buy $500 worth at one time, and just tell her you only bought a couple things but they have really good packaging!

Save yourself all the money your wife would spend on shoes :D

PACKAGED: (I know it`s AG, but ACC packages pretty much the same)

I would get the Collinite wax and ship it to a friends place so she won`t know or check a auto parts store when you out and about to see they carry it.:D

A bottle of it won`t break the bank and she will never know about it also. Your DD will thank you this winter.

Well Angelo you convinced me, luckily I ll be in Pittsburgh this weekend, there is a store that carrys the Collinite line. Since my old school TL and wife CRV will get the most abuse I am going to give it them Collinite treatment.

ON the new TSX since I use BF all around the year Ill just stick to BFWD, since the car wont be driven in the snow, maybe lite snow.
