Hello, I`ve been reading this forum off and on for a year, and although I haven`t retained half of the information I`ve read, I have still learned some great tips.
I`ve always taken pride in keeping my cars clean, just by doing the basics though, wash, quick detail spray, and micro fiber towel dry....
I`m wanting to go the extra step now, I have a hand full of cars, some classics with original paint and some newer cars I want to keep looking good forever.
I appreciate all the advice, and tips.
For the most part, my cars look great 15 feet away, but up close you notice the paint flaws.

I have a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88, that has a decent but cheap paint job (painted before I bought it) Has a lot of "Orange Peel" effect.
1971 Buick Riviera with original paint, sat outside for 14 years before I bought it. Plan on getting it re-painted down the road.
2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 with black paint - I`ve had it over a year and kept the paint in great shape.
2011 Jeep Cherokee - Silver - Daily driver
All cars are garaged, I do a yearly clay bar procedure, and wax. None of the cars are driven in the winter except for the jeep. I`m going to purchase the Porter Cable 7424XP starter kit on this site and get to work. I know it takes a lot of practice, so I will start on the car with the worst paint!
Thanks in advance for tips!
