I made this modification. As some know I`ve been looking for an LED light source. This was created with no modification to the stand or fixtures. It`s like holding 4 swirlfinders at once.

It is watertight and no warranties voided. I took the two halogens and replaced my old ones on the old stand.

John we need a picture with it lit up. I blew a bulb on my halogens and need to replace it but I`d like to switch to something different.

Thanks guys for the replies. I am doing a full step by step write up. This will include all parts and process. It is not hard but I can tell you after working with it I love it. Put it at 3/4 view and you only have to move it 4 times. Time saver and everything can be taken back if something fails. 1 hr for complete build. Not too much light but not too little. Lovin it especially on dark colors. Pulls out 1st stage polishing micromarring great on dark colors and really working on light ones too.

John,

GREAT POST!!! I just bought a new halogen work light, but am very disappointed. I WILL build one just like yours. Please post close up pics of the electrical boxes and connections. And a parts list please.

Thanks,

Dan.
