So I have an opportunity to correct some minor to medium swirls/marring on a fully restored Mach 1. Problem is, I`ve never worked on an older car such as this. Now, it was repainted and from what the owner told me "they went heavy on the clear". From my first impression I noticed no orange peel so it`s been wet sanded. I`m not sure what the best attack is so any help would be great! What I have available to me is as follows;
BF poly clay with ONR as lube (I like this combo)
Griot`s DA
Meg`s M105/205
Meg`s D300/301 (although I know I`m not going to use the 301)
BF gloss enhancing polish
BFWD
BF Midnight Sun
Lake Country Pads-Cyan, Crimson, Tangerine, Purple Foam Wool, Black, Blue
Meg`s MF pads
Thanks in advance!
