I would like your advice. I need more Microfiber towels for polish removal, LSP removal. I think trying to stretch the use of my current "good" towels is leading to scratches. Can you recommend a pack or bundle with "a lot" of towels that would be suitable for polish, LSP, and quick detailer, without going broke.

Here is what I have so far.
Complete Microfiber Kit, (http://www.autogeek.net/microfiber-towel-kit.html)
Microfiber Towel Combo (http://www.autogeek.net/mitoco.html)

The best towels that I know of are from Pak Shak.

But I think you would be better off buying a bulk pa k for each type of towel not a multipack.

Here are a few links:

Super Soft Deluxe Microfiber Towels, microfiber detailing towels, microfiber buffing towels, detail cloth, micro fiber (http://www.autogeek.net/super-soft-microfiber-towels-6.html)

Super Soft Deluxe Green Microfiber Towels with Rolled Edges, green buffing towels, micro fiber, micro fibre, detail cloths (http://www.autogeek.net/green-rolled-edge-towels-6.html)

Microfiber Wheel Detailing Towels, wheel buffing towel, utility towel, black microfiber towel, shop towel (http://www.autogeek.net/microfiber-wheel-towels.html)

Cobra Deluxe Jr. 600 Microfiber Towels 6 Pack (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-deluxe-jr-towels.html)

Cobra Gold Plush Jr. Microfiber Towel, microfiber buffing towel, micro fiber towel (http://www.autogeek.net/gold-plush-jr-towel-3.html)

I realize it`s a bit unconventional, but I almost exclusively use Sam`s Club MF towels. They work great and they`re cheap; what more could I ask for?

Only exception to that are Waffle Weave towels, and most of the ones I have are Meguiar`s Water Magnets.

Microfibertech has good prices for towels, some of which, rather coincidentally, look pretty similar to those sold by other sellers at higher prices...

I have those, and they where the culprit. Maybe I am not taking care of them properly. I use CG micro wash, wash on hot dry on low heat. Maybe I am rubbing to hard!

A long time ago I was interested money in microfibers and purchased them from the bulk discount stores. It was my experience, that while many of these "less expensive" Chinese built towels worked well once (if I was lucky twice), as soon as they were washed they would start scratching paint.

It has been my experience, particularly when polishing paint for hours and hours and hours, that I wanted to have a durable, long lasting microfiber that could would last. The last thing I wanted to do was damage the paint during the final wipe off.

I agree so what do you recommend a good bang for the buck? I want to get around 24-36 of them.

I guess I should elaborate .. i do have 1 pack of sams club towels. I also have quite a few cobra towels, the one kit that comes with a few AG detail bag, and another that had the waffle weave and polishing assortment. I have used the Sams when removing the first step in a 2 step polish and noticed marring. I did this trying to stretch the use of the few better towels for later in the process. Hence I need more polish, lsp, and quick detailer suitable towels. I`m tired of running out.

Guess what ??? They are. I have purchased from both vendors and the tags are the same. !!!!!!!!!!!! Which means that the same company makes/produces the towels for them. I review all towels for cost, are they a 70/30 or 75/25 blend, what is the towel going to be used for, etc.

I use regular liquid Tide detergent to wash with warm water, dry on "extra low" heat, and I have never had problems even after several washes.

You`re probably exactly right, you`re rubbing too hard. :inspector:

I have found that Adams have great microfiber towels. I try to save them for my final wipe down.
