Each spray BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal contains enough Wet Diamond Polymers to protect your paint and create that unmistakable BLACKFIRE Shine. Crystal Seal is a unique self-leveling formula that does not require additional buffing or removal. Simply wipe on and walk away. Crystal Seal is will not stain plastic and trim.

Instructions

BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal contains no cleaning agents. For maximum effect apply BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal to prepared paint or existing BLACKFIRE protection. Wash and dry the vehicle as normal. Machine polish paint defects if necessary or use BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish to clean and prepare the paint.

Mist BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal onto the microfiber applicator pad to prime it.

Mist on to one section of the car, I. E. a fender, half the hood, a door, and spread using straight lines until a thin even coat is applied. Very little goes a long way, 4 ounces can treat up to 40 vehicles.

Apply to the next section until the entire vehicle is covered. There is no need to wipe off. Wait 30-60 minutes for all high-spots to level and cure. Try to keep the vehicle out of the elements for the next 8 hours to allow the Wet Diamond Polymers to fully cross-link.

Here`s another product I want to try out.

I`m curious though, what is the point of the Wet Diamond sealant then? Would this be used in conjunction with, or alone?

Nice write up Todd! I have been playing around with this product for a while, and I really like it so far. I obviously don`t know what the price will be, but I think it will be a big hit when it`s released! It goes on so easy like Opti-Seal or UPGP, and it looks amazing. From what I`ve been told the durability is right between that of Opti-Seal and UPGP, but the big benefit is that only one layer of this product is needed to achieve maximum durability and shine, unlike UPGP which usually works best after 3 layers.

If the durabilty holds true then I would be good with that. I normally use one of the others mentioned but durabilty isn`t an issue for me with the ease of use and normally I only do one coat anyway.

It can be used as a stand alone sealant. The benefit over Wet Diamond would be the time savings. Again we staying within the same family of polymers so the look and feel (slickness) is going to be on par with Wet Diamond. Wet Diamond will ultimately provide longer protection because (being a traditional sealant) it is going to have a higher number of active polymers in the formula.
Crystal Seal is whiplash in less time.

In terms of direct comparisons they are all different. Crystal Seal uses the same Wet Diamond Polymers (a grouping of three imported polymers) that are used in the Wet Diamond All Finishing Paint Protection Sealant, so it is going to be very Wet Diamond like. This is BLACKFIRE`s take on WOWA sealants.

ditto we were typing at the same time Todd.

From the discription it can be used either way. The point of the sealant is longer durability. The sealant is going to have more durabilty than this is going to have as an stand alone so you may want to use this as a topper. Based on the other similar products I`ve used you can expect a few months really good protection then you can see it start to degrade but it only takes 10-15 minutes to apply so I`ve never seen it as an issue for my own stuff.

Very interesting product Todd - and like Opti-Seal, looks like it can be applied everywhere.
