I will never understand how someone can allow their car to get this disgusting. Fortunately the owner left the car with me for 3 days for me to work on it around my schedule. I wound up committing a lot more time to it than planned. The exterior was just a wash/clay/seal. The interior took close to 10 hours, far more than I have ever spent on an interior before. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

There were a few spots that required a little correction. This was the worst.

I’m sorry you had to see that. Thanks for looking, though.

Nice save- it looks brand new now. That thing looked like a crime scene when you got it...

Very nice, looks like someone just puked all over that interior that was nasty! Sometimes though, those bad cars can make or break you

That`s just plain nasty. I seem to get cars about that dirty a couple of times a week and I hate doing them with a passion. I did a pet taxi yesterday....and oh boy the smell was horrific.
Nice job.

When I saw the first interior pic, I thought I was looking at a murder scene pic. Seriously.

That was nasty, nice job!

I can really respect work like this. Its always said here that these jobs separate the boys from the men. Newbies looking to get into this business need to see write ups like this, and understand what they will likely get into one day. Its not always a beautiful day spent working on cool cars. Sometimes its disgusting, back breaking work. Excellent job.

Way to take one for the team on that one. I really don`t get how cars get that way, and a Lexus to boot. Nice work, I bet the client was pleased.

Man that thing looked worse then the some car lot repos I`ve done. Great turnaround! What did you use to treat carpets/ mats? Also, did u use a hot water extractor?

I thought the same thing.

Nice save!

So.....its likely you lost your profit on that car?

It was a great save but I highly doubt you the true cost of that turn around. I hate interiors like that because they ALWAYS take longer than you bid, I`ve started just saying its my hourly on cases like that.

Cheers,
GREG

Wow..that interior was disgusting. Great save. You deserve an award for that one.

Maybe I`m the odd duck here but I look at these jobs as a chance to showcase ones talent. When a almost pristine interior comes in it is hard to impress the customer and show perspective customers impressive before and after shots. With the one OP has here is a great opportunity to wow both the customer and perspective clients.Agreed that this is not the ideal customer we strive for but ones such as these can be useful in promoting our services and skills.
