I don`t know about the rest of you, but recently I have started to get pop up ads. I`ve noticed it with Yahoo the most and aonther site that I surf.

I have downloaded, Enigma popup stopper, Adware and that picked up some problems but has not stopped them. I have the settings setup to stop anything, and that`s not helped.

Anyone of you DC people have any ideas what I can do..

I`m running Win 98 and MS Explore for a brower

toolbar.google.com

Go there, get the toolbar, free pop-up blocking, and not to mention easier searching!

Spy Bot Search and Destroy is very good as well.

Some one wrote up an article a while back showing that you need this AND adware. They will both find things that the other one didnt. I believe this program was featured on tech tv a while back.

I use both programs for spyware. Jeez, spyware should be outlawed.

Beemerboy,

The Pop-up blocker that Yahoo has seems to work pretty well. It can be added to the Yahoo toolbar, and turned on and off if needed.

It probably ends up blocking most of the Yahoo pop-ups! :D

A firewall has kept oodles from popping up on me. Can also set it to block cookies, confidential info, open port attacks etc.
