I got some very small paint chipped on 2 spots, so I got my freinds silver touch-up paint that he got from pep boys. Now its really darker than my paint so its really noticeable where I painted. Is there any way I can get this stuff off?

How do I get rid of paint chips?

I have a 04 platinum silver metallic wrx

thx

Most of the touch up paint sold at Auto-Zone, etc. is Lacquer based, so a little Lacquer thinner should remove the touch up paint with out damaging the clearcoat. Then start again with the proper paint.
I have found that most of the touch up paints do not match all that well, so you might try it and then decide if you need to go lighter or darker and buy a shade in that direction and mix them together to get the exact match.
