Well firstly I tried doing a search on this and #40 wasnt a big enough word (which is pretty stupid) so is this stuff any good? How does it compare to others?

I think that it is pretty good. It is a little greasy which collects dust but it also leaves a nice shine. I think that it is pretty comparable to Vinylex in shine but I think that it collects dust a little more readily. Both of these products are shinier and collect more dust than 303.

I used Meg#40 all the time. I agree that it does tend to collect just but it leaves a very nice shine.
I haven`t tried Vinylex yet

Meguiar`s #40 is a very good product. I`ve used it for years and still really like it on tires. Vinylex is a good product with a nice lustre and it dries without any residual feel left and therefore does not attract dust. I still use #40 on my tires but use Vinylex for interior details.

Good product. here`s a little secret. Spray the inside of your wheel wells. don`t wipe. just spray. You`ll be pleased.

Here is an even better secret. I use Pledge on the inside of my wheel wells. Heck, its cheaper and it looks great.:D

My daughter`s new car. She got the grades (4.0+) I got her the car for Christmas - that was the deal :).
The car lives outside so after three months I decided to seal it. Clayed the whole car first, then polished with Menzerna Power Finish with orange Hydro-Tech pads, then machine applied Klasse AIO with crimson Hydro-Tech pad, and finally a hand applied coat of Klasse High Gloss Sealant. Total detail time: 12-hours.
A couple of after pics:

Wow! The Jetta looks amazing. The reflections are insane and the paint looks dripping wet.
Also, congratulations on your daughter`s grades. You must be very proud.
