At this verry moment I have in my garage waiting for the weather to clear:

Turtle wax

Megiuars

Zaino

TW was bought on sight ,in a sort of big mall, prior to reading, searching the autopian archives.TW will propably remain on the shelf as a reminder of : read first , buy later ,not vice-versa.

Megiuars : read possitive things about it and found out that I could order it in Holland.

I have no credit-cards(my grandma told me : never spend money you`ve never seen) so my only possibility to order is by money-order.Megiuars -Europe does that.

Between the order and the delivery lie 7 days, only downside is the shippingcost:24Euro(21USdollar).

Have allready tryed it on the rear of the car,no comments so far.

Zaino:thanks to Deckard I found that I could order Zaino via Viper-lifestyle:

between the order and delivery lie 6 working days , and a shippingcost of 20Euro(17.8USdollar).

Plan to use it as soon as the weather clears. With pictures of course.

This preview is written to give other (maybe newbe`s)people an idea what the possibilitys are.

As promised by winning the You Outta Be in Pictures contest here is a review of Powerclean.

Initially I was just going to just do an interior with it but decided to try it on a few different things. Everything I tried it on I had it mixed at 3:1.

Please keep in mind when looking at the pictures that all I was doing were spot tests and not full details.

One fancy bottle of Powerclean

How about some blue jean stains on tan leather

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/dubbin1/Detailing/Optimum%20Power%20Clean/SeatBefore.jpg

When I first started cleaning it off things weren`t looking so good. I knew if I my leather brush it probably would have taken the blue off right away but for all of these tests I wanted to stick with a MF towel. After letting the Powerclean dwell for a few seconds I was able to get all of the blue off.

Here is a leather center console that the owner thought was clean. I`m not sure what cheap "protectant" they had on it but it looked terrible. I just love how they protected everything without cleaning it first...

Filthy Rims

Simply sprayed the Powerclean on and wiped off with a MF towel with zero dwell time.

Dirty tires

This is what really got me excited about Powerclean. Again I sprayed it on and wiped it clean with a MF towel with zero dwell time. This is by far the best product I have used for cleaning tires.

I figured I would also give it a try under the hood on a engine bay that hasn`t been cleaned in 15 years. Everything in these next few pictures are covered in grease and grime. There was no dwell time, everything was sprayed and wiped away with a rag. Again these are quick test spots on a 96` Grand Am so don`t expect anything to look like new.

I feel I could have diluted it even more and achieved the same results on everything I tried it on. I just can`t figure out how something can be so gentile on leather but yet have the power to clean those nasty tires and grease under the hood. This is truly an all purpose cleaner.

Pros:
Can be diluted
Cleans anything from leather to grease under the hood.
Best dang tire cleaner I have ever used.
No harsh odors.

Cons:
It is up there in price when compared to most other all purpose cleaners.
I didn`t order a gallon at the same time Chris sent me this bottle.

I just wanted to add that the more Optimum products I use the more I am impressed with this company. I have yet to try any of their compounds or polishes but I almost feel like Optimum could be a one stop shop for all of your detailing needs. Hopefully one of these days I will get a chance to try those polishes and knock out another review.

I also want to thank Chris for giving me the opportunity for trying new products and having these contests.

Thanks for the review.

I recently bought a gallon of the concentrate and have started playing around with it. I`ll be giving it a real workout soon, as my brothers 2007 Toyota 4-Runner will be getting an inside detail. This thing has probably NEVER been cleaned on the inside. The outside is pretty dull as well, but that`s for another day.

Thanks for the review Dwayne. I also use Power Clean, and like you I am amazed how one product can clean so many different surfaces, and do it safely. I used to use Purple Power on my tires, but the fumes were really harsh to breath in. This is much better on the lungs for sure.

One of many great products by Optimum.

i just used it this past weekend on the engine bay of my f150 at full strength with my steam machine. plesed as punch how it came out. didn`t know i could dilute it and have it work as well. i`ll have to try it on the leather seats this weekend.

What other APC did you use before Power Clean, and how did they compare? I use Megs APC+ and am thinking of trying out the power clean, but am not certain it is really worth the extra money considering how dilute you can make APC+ and still have a strong cleaner.

Great review, Power Clean is probably my favorite APC at the moment. (Although I prefer Meguiar`s APC for carpets/fabrics)

Todd,

APC or APC+? I think the latter is better because of less foaming, no?
