I`m talking about the cleaner degreaser not the wheel cleaner. I`m looking for a good product for the lower body panels that removes everything. Is this the one? Is it safe?

My Zymol auto wash just isn`t strong enough.

Also I own a MB-E320 and the lower body panels are plastic.

but I`ll use this for my other car without plastic panels.

Is 3M worth a try?

Thanks,

Ron:bounce

I did a search on it already. Thanks. Theres just so much talk about wheel cleaner. I know that it`s not a good wheel cleaner.

EF is great.

Try some EF PowerWash+. I love the stuff, and by using it straight you should be able to get most stuff off. If not, you can step up to EF HI.

Just make sure that you rinse well.

I use dilluted simple green on my underbody durring the winter. Like you I have tried other car wash formulas, but found they were not strong enough to get all the dirt, salt, and grime off.

Just be carefull not to get it on your cars paint, it is pretty strong and probably will strip wax.

My favorites for underbody:

EF Hi-Intensity

EF PowerWash+

P21S Total Auto Wash

I use Hi-Intensity followed by PowerWash+ a lot.

You`ve got to love the 3 products that David B. mentions. The EF Hi Intensity is an especially good deal as you can get a gallon of this stuff at a very economical price. Many of us also dilute this product 50/50 with water so it should last you a very long time. Laters

I have used the Automotive Simple Green stuff and it`s ok. I use it to clean tires only. It gets a hec of a lot of grime off.

never stripped wax off paint, never nothing..... :xyxthumbs :nixweiss
