I just applied 2 coats of BF Polish and 3 coats of BF Protectant on our dark green Honda Accord (last week I did the white Integra). The instructions said to "allow the haze to dry", but every time I applied a coat, I could not see the "haze" that the instructions was mentioning. It seemed like every time I put a nickel amount on my MF pad, it would hardly show on the paint. Most of the time, it seemed like I was just buffing it off when I`d go over it with the MF pad. BTW, I did this outside in the shade.

Was this the same experience you had with the BF products? I`m thinking maybe it`s just something new for me considering I`m so used to seeing a haze when I used to use the Gold Class wax.

Used Blackfire again today myself....there really isn`t a white haze. After you use polish or wax on one body panel....just wait one minute and buff with all cotton towel.

I do get a haze but it`s rather light. Nothing like you get on an inexpensive product like Turtle Wax or something.

I notice both with MF app or PC app. Hardly any dust comes up.

Today a local vinyard held their annual concours event and open house. There was a good amount of cars that showed up, even though it was raining up until 11 AM. I was very surprised to see so many out of state license plates given the inclement weather, but was very glad to be able to see such cool cars!

Aside from detailing, I also like to practice photography but haven`t really had the chance to do so too much this year until today. Here are my photos from the day, I think they turned out pretty nice! :)

Incredible pictures!!! :D What camera and program did you use? I wonder what the picture of the hood ornament would like in B&W or in B&W with only the ornament retaining its color? BTW, the first pic, Allard shot, and two engine shots were my most favorite. Outstanding photography skills, my friend.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it! All photos were taken using an Olympus SP570-UZ, which is an extended zoom point and shoot camera, and edited using Adobe Lightroom V.2

This is my friend Pat`s 996 GT3, when he arrived he was instantly informed he had a third place trophy waiting for him... from last year`s event! The trophy was for his replica 1973 Carrera RS that I detailed earlier this year.

The Carrera was originally black and was bought to be built as a budget autocross machine. After a complete tear down, rebuild, and flawless paint job the car only gets driven to local meets and events.
