I save $10 on it.. the 1 yr warranty still applies, should i get it ?
It`s About $240 can after tax.. and no box, just the machine and all the parts.
The only thing stopping me from ordering from the US is the duty tax and the shipping rates.
The good thing about buying it locally is that i don`t have to run around tryin to find a supplier to send the product back for repairs.
What do you think ?

If it`s what you want, and it`s warrantied, then go for it.
Too bad that there isn`t a Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse near you in B.C. Here in the Detroit, MI area, I bought the Porter Cable 7336 Orbital Sander and changed the head to Porter Cable`s hook & loop backup pad (part # 18001). Bought the back up pad from a local Woodcrafters store. Total together was about $140, including sales tax. A heck of alot lower than Griot`s Garage`s $200 U.S. Incidentally, Griot`s (Link (`http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_1000&L2=L2_1004&SKU=10625`)) <strong class=`bbc`>is the Porter Cable 7336 Orbital Sander[/b], with a case and the hook & loop back up pad. Since they are in Washington State, maybe shippin gto you in Vancouver, BC won`t be so bad.
(Yea, I know my signature line says PC 7424, but it`s really the 7336)

Solid work KC - did you wet-sand the hood in order to `level` the touch up paint?
Solid work KC - did you wet-sand the hood in order to `level` the touch up paint?
nope..i wet sanded the paint corroded area.....to bring the correction up
literary buff away all the touch up paint...cause silver is a colour that u can evenly cover..as its ages quickly
