all I can say is my jaw was on the floor the entire time watching that show. Some of those garages, and those BEAUTIFUL cars in them, I wonder if they take care of their paint as well as they take care of their garages.

Great show!!

Last night I saw the last 20 minutes of a show on the Learning Channel. It was about the Harley Davidson V-Rod development project. Very cool, and I`m not even a biker anymore (I used to ride a rice grinder during college.) It was a bit gut-wrenching to see them spray paint the gorgeous bikes flat black so that any photos taken during the road trials would not show too much detail. I couldn`t believe they even subjected the bikes to a high-intensity Electro-magnetic field storm test. Sheez. I`m sure it will be on again, as are most LC shows. Catch it if you get the chance.

If that show is replayed everyone on this forum should watch it. Big Boys with some exceptional toys. Really worth watching.

The show did highlight some "nice" "garages?", but the usefullness of these showplaces is higjly questionable. You couldn`t even run a buffer in the Ferrari Lair!!!!!!. I appreciate what the series producers are trying to accomplish but it is just like your grandmas living room: All show NO GO!

Hopefully the new episodes of Dream Car Garage on Speedvision will highlight garages that are beutiful and FUNCTIONAL. JMHO John:bounce

I auditioned for the show but my floor didn`t pass the shine test, my floor jacks didn`t match my color scheme and my expresso machine wasn`t hooked up yet. Maybe next year!:(

2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. The owner wanted the exterior washed and waxed and the interior done as well. Total time was around 6 hours. I did not do any paint correction on this one so I did not get any sun shots really. And a special thanks to Bill ( aka Luster), he gave me a few pointers on the Grand Prix.

-Washed with Meguiars new Ultimate Wash and Wax.

-Wheels, tires, and wheelwells were cleaned with Meguiars APC at 4:1 with various brushes dipped in soap and water.

-Clayed with Meguiars Blue clay and Last Touch.

-The G110 was used to spread and work in two thin coats of Meguiars M66 Quick Detailer/Cleaner Wax.

-Tires and wheelwells were dressed with Meguiars All Season Dressing.

-The door jambs were wiped clean with APC and a cotton towel.

-The interior was deep cleaned with APC, Tuff Stuff, and finished off with Quik Interior Detailer.

-Carpet and mats were vacummed with the shop vac, cleaned with Tuff Stuff, warm water, and a brush, then rinsed with a wet terry cloth and excess water was lifted up with towels and the shop vac.
