On detergents and soaps? One minute I was replying to it and then when I submitted my reply it said thread was invalid and it disappeared altogether! Maybe I am going crazy

Well, here is my reply nonetheless for those of you that like to read:

Since I have some background in this (I`ve created quite a few of my own detergents (nonionic, anionic, and cationic especially) in the lab!), I`ll be happy to add to the conversation.

But, instead of typing up a long diatribe, how about some useful links?? :)

The question was "What is the difference between detergents and soaps?" Some people call laundry cleaner detergent others call it laundry soap. Then comes auto car wash or auto soap, now they are being called shampoos.

Well, here in North Western NJ, we just got another 24 inches of snow dumped on us. I just got in from digging us out, and I must say, I am poopedSleep.

I hope all of my fellow North Easterners here on TID are safe.

I must say, I am ready to ditch the North East and move somewhere warm. Any of you guys in Fla, or So. Cal. want to take in a very tired and cold compadre.:Frosty:

Be safe, and just remember, spring is on it`s way:clap::Dancing Dot::hurray::thumbup::D:partaaay2:

Tell me about it. There was a lot of ice under the snow and the snow blower had a very difficult time.

Give the back a rest!

I can relate - we get major dumpers every few years (worst was 44 inches a number of years ago). We`ll get ours in March and April.

Anyway, got to fly into Phily mid-day Sunday and Boston later in the afternoon. Any thoughts on what conditions might be? Are the airports fast at snow removal?

Regards,
GEWB

Your lucky. We haven`t gotten much in the mountains of NH or ME. We need it bad. Us snowmobilers are hurting for snowfall.
