As I have stated before I have paint overspray on a few spots of my car. I also have about 2 layers of z5 with another 2 layers on the horizontal surfaces.
Now the overspray is only in a few isolated spots. Before I bust out the clay what do I need to do for paint surface prep. I do not want to clay the whole car, just the rough areas. Can I Dawn wash the effected areas, clay, and then wash the whole car with z7? After the clay do I need to start over with the z1 and z5 again?
TIA!!:up

No need to dawn wash. Then apply Z1 and Z2/Z5 to the panels that you clayed. Then Z6 and keeping layering on zaino!

No big deal. Just clay with a Z7/water solution as a lube (mix a cap of Z7 in a quart squirt bottle) and reapply Z2 or Z5.
I do this as needed.

how do you guys clean between the seat and console where your vac attachments won`t fit? I have used a bottle brush about 1 1/2 inches in diameter to pull the loose dirt to the vac attachment, but have a hard time getting at any stuck on contaminates.. Any tricks or tips?

Wrap a small Microfiber Towel around a wooden paint stir stick and tape the ends.
You can use it wet or dry.

I use some attachment kit I found at Lowes that you can use with your Vac system that was made to clean up one`s computer. It works great and it`s about 10 bucks.

on smaller cars if the interior is really dirty I have even found it faster to just to pull the seats out rather than fighting with it.

Yup... Corvette seats can be pulled out in just a few minutes. 4 bolts - done!

In addition to the "crevice" tool, my garage vac came with these handy tools. You might find them at an appliance supply store like Marbeck or perhaps eBay.
