Hi,

I have a couple of paint chips in my black new black car. I`ve heard that Turtle Wax Color Back is good for covering up these chips. Has anyone here used this product? Does it really work?

If your referring to the wax that is designed for the color of your car then, IMHO this stuff is pure crap (forgive me for being blunt). The stuff wears off after a wash or two and your back where you started.

Learn how to properly repair paint chips and do it yourself...thats the best way to deal with paint chips in your finish.

Steve is right on. If this product were as good as it claims to be, then many of us would be using it. Laters.

Also if it is a new car, most likely there is a clear coat on it. It would be like rubbing the TW color back on clear glass. Like Steve said, this stuff is crap.

Indeed the Turtle Wax stuff is crap. You said your car was new, go back to the dealer and get a bottle of touch up paint. Since it is from the factory, it will match the car better than any auto parts store crap that you can buy.

I was at COSTCO today and saw this Bissell Garage Pro Wet `n` Dry Wall Mount Vacuum.

This is EXACTLY the one I`ve been looking for. I can reach the vehicles in the garage or driveway without dragging a vacuum cleaner around behind me! Just get out the hose and flip the switch!

Retail is $229.
Regular Price (COSTCO) $169
Instant Rebate -$30
COSTCO Gold Member Points -$40

So I got it for $99 bucks!

Wall mounted
32` hose (this was my main criteria)
Vac and Blow capability
Wet & Dry 4 gallon tank
Powerful suction
11 tools included

Very pleased!

The suction power is excellent. I`d say 9 out of 10.

On the blower side, using the attachments to narrow the flow, I`ll give it an 7 out of 10.

I didn`t really buy it for the blower side. I use a Toro leaf blower for that job. (That thing could blow the chrome off a trailer hitch!)

Awesome Bill, I noticed that in there the other day and thought it looked like a great product.

Did you get a chance to check out the Total Garage Store, or Complete Garage Store (I forget what it`s called).

Yeah, it`s nuts how expensive it is. Did you see the sign that said you need an appointment for a lot of the stuff? About the only thing I can afford is the Griots stuff.
