Anybody tackle this before? I`ve seen it a couple times and just left it be , because I didn`t want to use a bleach/mildewcide without knowing the immediate or long term effects. A late model Tahoe I detailed today had it bad, and it brought to light that I need to find a remedy that won`t damage the rubber any worse than it is. All I did was clean it and apply some 303, and it made it a bit better looking. Is the mildew permanent at this point? Thanks all . Dan the Guitarman.

I never came across a mildew problem before, but I would imagine that if you used a weak bleach solution sprayed onto a small toothbrush doing one section at a time while keeping the paintwork wet shouldn`t have any adverse effects on the finish. Have you tried finding a junker to practice this on?

Now that you mentioned it, I`m at the boneyard at least once every couple months, so that`s an idea I can actually achieve. Will bring some supplies next time and give it a go. Thanks.

I did this truck today, the last time I detailed it was back in June.

I really didn`t need to open this up to figure which house it would be.

Beautiful work on a great truck. :notworthy:

I still can`t get over the garage. It was bad enough when I counted 6 doors but then in these shots I realized it is double depth and then there are lifts in the back to double up the vehicle storage.

What a great client to have - they could keep you busy full time!
