Let me tell you. I have had it with people who bypass a whole line of cars that is backed up at an exit ramp or some other choke point and then stick there nose in at the last minute. This acutally contributes to gridlock. Every day on my commute home, I get behind people headed from VA to MD over the Wilson bridge, which is bad enough. They use the EXIT ONLY lane for Rte 1 north BEFORE the bridge until the last second, then they stop and wedge their way into the next lane and scoot across the bridge. This causes me to have to wait for them, when I am in the exit only lane for a reason. I am exiting! I whale on my horn, but what good does it do? God I hate that.

Thanks for listening.

I hate those f*****g people. Lazy ```````s.

I don`t ever do that, I`d rather take the next exit and then go surface streets if I miss a turnoff, than wedge my way in.

I only use my turnsignal to TELL, never to ASK.

This is not meant to be funny....here in So. Ca. we shoot them.

road rage sucks..especially if you get caught in it.

In NY to get off the BQE onto the prospect expressway there is usally a line, most people want to cut in that line, but now they have in ground cones preventing any lane cutters and cops waiting there for any to give a ticket.

are the inconsiderate <strong class=`bbc`>SOB`s[/b] that drive 60+ MPH in the breakdown lane when the highway is gridlocked. They feel that the breakdown lane is their own personal highway. Just a few years ago a tractor trailer driver did this on Route 290 in the Worcester area and he rear ended a car that was broken down, killing 4 people (2 adults, a toddler and an infant)

Occaisionally, I`ve been known to take a tactic from the truckers (if they`re not already doing it) to prevent the "last minute turn-ins".

When there`s no one in the (soon to be ending) lane, pull into it, then just stay exactly even with the car that was right behind you. I gurantee they`ll let you back in right when you need it. It helps if you can do it with a semi, they appreciate someone letting them keep a steady speed (some space in front of them) without worrying about people cutting in front of them.

And everyone gets to the single lane in the order in which they started.....

In Chicago, doing that is a seriously dicy proposition, at best. We have too many state troopers around here in unmarked cars (e.g. Grand Prix GTPs, Suburbans, Z28s, Mustangs) and you have no idea where they may be in traffic.

Not only that, but the truckers here like to enforce the rule of no riding on the shoulder.

However, let`s not talk about those who do the lane jump at a construction zone. They know the lane is about to end and they wait until the last minute to change lanes. I have seen this too often on Chicago expressways and have seen some near accidents because of it.

sorry about some of the lighting... might have to turn the flash back on

hope to be further along by the end of the week and we are supposed to have lots of sun this weekend so I can show some finals.

Comments or suggestions certainly welcome as I am a weekend warrior going all out. Depending on how I do on this one, there is an all Fords show in Baytown in November that I may try to do. Couldnt have done a lot of this without all the great tips and tricks I learned in here.

Sorry again about that shameless post bump th0001.
