Heya guys...

I live in Houston, TX...one of the most polluted cities in the US. On top of that, I live within ten miles of George Bush Intercontinental Airport, one of the busiest airports in the country, as well. Needless to say, I have a problem with acid rain!

I have acid rain spots on my current car...they do bug me, but I have read what is involved in getting rid of them, and I just don`t think it`s worth it. I am actually looking to get rid of the car AND to move to a much less harsh environment in the not so distant future.

However, there is a very good chance that I will get the new car before I move, and I want to avoid getting acid rain marks if at all possible. Does Klasse offer protection from that sort of thing? Input appreciated...

Thanks,

Gary

With winter season hitting us soon, what will be your winter LSP? Anybody going for sealant/wax combo? I have three cars, and think to have different LSP combo on all three...Hmmmmm....
I have DG 601/105 combo, Klasse Twins, Collinite 845, 915, GI gloss finish, Zaino Z-2, Z-5 (and ZFX), Werkstatt twins (Prime strong, AJ, and AJ-T), Blackfire wet diamond (my new favorite sealant), and BH AB...still haven`t decided what I`m gonna use...
Thinking of ordering FK 1000p, maybe will use it on wheels or something (want something more durable then Poorboy`s wheel sealant).
What`s your winter LSP will be? Or maybe a combo???

I`ll have to go with Blackfire Wet Diamond. I just seems to give the best results. Number 2 would be Z5Pro. I follow both with Z8.

For wheels, I still like ClearSeal.

845iw I seem to get a good longevity out of it.

After much deliberation on this topic, I think that I will be doing 2 coats of BFWD topped with 2 coats of 845IW.

Collinite 845

Will probably top it up with more 845 or 476 in late November or December.

The only thing that lasts out here in the Northwest is Zaino Z2 and/or Z5 x 3 with ZFX, Z6 between coats, topped with Zaino Clearseal x 2 with 8 hrs between coats, Z6 and Z8 after every wash.
I did one of our vehicles, `97 540i with B/Fire W/D awhile back x 2, and it shines great but doesnt look like its going to be strong enough to make it through until January, will have to see..
I know Zaino will easily make it and then some.

Yep! :D

Even in the winter I won`t go more than a month or two before applying any wax....so as always, durability means nothing to me. ;)

BTW, your new avatar is SOOOOO much better than your old one!
