I`m not shilling for PAC but would like to offer my personal experience with this machine.

I`ve had mine for about 3 years now and it`s been absolutely great! This unit was my first and so far my only rotary. I compared the DeWalt and a Milwaukee at the time and the Hitachi was the lightest and best performing machine of the 3. The big thing for me was the 5 year warranty and I have not exercised that part yet. Since I`ve had mine I had a chance to try a Metabo and would get one of those next however at the price I got my Hitachi it was a great machine for the price. This would be a very good "first rotary" if you`re looking to go that route or as a rather inexpensive backup machine.
