I know you all know how to wash a car... but I just wanted to share the Love!!!:hurray:

It was a PERFECT afternoon for a carwash... cloudy, 75*, humidity a little high (didn`t dry too fast!).

I drove home last night and there were a few sprinkles and some tree sap so it needed a bath! I rarely wash this car because it never gets dirty!!!!

So it was a joy to wash it!

I used Zaino Z7 carwash, nice and sudsy, along with the softest washmitt I have in stock. The Z7 washed the tree sap sprinkles off with no effort.

Hosed down the car and soaped up with the mitt! Don`t be too shocked that I didn`t use the 2-bucket-method. The car was pretty clean when I started... no road grime...

Here`s how much carwash soap I used:

I hosed off using the "flooding" or "sheeting" method, which leaves very little splash.

Then comes the fun part: The Leaf Blower! These older cars have TONS of little cracks, crevices, places that water loves to hide. the leaf blower definitely chases it away! Dried with Big Blue... (sorry no pic of that).

I use a tire brush to apply tire dressing. I like PB B&B because it`s not only a dressing, but a cleaner also.

I apply the dressing, then wipe the white letters with a utility MF.

Even though the mirror tops aren`t on very often, I do love the look!

I`m pretty careful.... I just never gave it any thought... all it takes is one little grain of sand!

Even at my age... learn something every day!

That roof is sweet Bill!

Thanks! The glass top is one of my favorite parts of the car. But since it`s a t-top Corvette, they are rarely on!!!

Those are actually pretty new. I dropped one last year and had to replace the set!!!

UGLY. (I was not happy.):cursing:
