I woke up this morning and said to myself, "Nothing would get my weekend started better than a fresh coat of wax on my own white Jetta". I`ve spent so much time lately on others` cars that mine has been a bit neglected. Before I embark on a complete spring detail I thought I`d give her a fresh coat of Blackfire Wax to tie her over for the next couple of weeks. She`s a beauty. I really wish I was better at photography. Fresh wax really adds depth to my white paint. But, AZ sun and white paint don`t make for easy pictures. So, to my point.....I really enjoy detailing cars. I`ve also enjoyed picking up tips and product ideas from ya`all. There`s some great people here who share a wealth of experience and knowledge. Thanks Todd for the tip on the Blackfire Wax. Easy to use, looks great. It all makes for a glorious Saturday morning in AZ.

Nothing will motivate you to learn photobucket like someone posting a pic in your thread. LOL. Enjoy!

The first is my Jetta done this morning, the second is a Benz I did last week. The Jetta paint is creamy and my camera is not good enough to focus on the paint. The pics will get better. They are both polished with SIP and 106FF. The Jetta is topped with Klasse/Blackfire and the Benz is topped with Collintie 845.

Going by the pictures, I`d have to say BF looks better than Collinite. I liked the second picture of the Jetta. Did you use a polarizer for the first shot of the Jetta? If so, that would explain why your car is not showing any reflection.
What year is your Jetta? Do you know if it has a clear coat? My bro-in-law just got a Jetta and the color was listed as "Candy White".

Gorgeous. Can`t say that I`ve ever seen white look that good. And the tires in the first round of pics... I *love* the satin look. Very nicely done.

Mine is an `07, it is Campanella White. It has clear. I did not use a polarizer. It`s just a tough white to shoot. The second was in the shade on a very bright day. Thanks for the compliment. In person it looks like a candy shell.

It`s "No Touch Tire Care". I actually do touch it, though. I wipe off the excess after letting it sit for a few minutes. Now and then I go for the glossy look with a tire gel.
