Had a customer that otherwise treated his car with much enthusiasm and passion see us in May. However even an owner that takes impeccable care of their car it will ultimately have issues that are unavoidable (especially in UV Florida).

Other than a couple spots and rock chips looks good. Lets give her a wash and see what we can find.

Love the oxidation on a car only a couple years old and waxed regularly

After M-Seal

Now this 350z is RED...not Pink!

Care was taken to bring out its best shine. However due to some road abuse she will hopefully be back in my hands to do some Dr ColorChip coming this week and then a follow up detail before he heads off to a road race show @ wannagofast.com

More abuse..more the reason I got the big bottle of colorchip! Look for a review on that in the next couple weeks!

Got a chance to use Dr ColorChip on this car due to the road abuse it gets it had little white rock chips ALL over the front.....I tried to count the individual chips (not the road rash) and gave up trying to count after getting to 60 just on the hood....

This stuff works great. Even in extremely HIGH humidity. And for those with road rash, I couldnt even find most of the little nicks after this. The bigger chips can still be found but there was absolutely no blob left behind.

The paint goes on and the kit comes with some great little tools to get the paint in the hole. After allowed to dry (after this weekends storms I had to wait about 2 hours before I decided to attack the blobs)

The Solution/Tshirt type cloth that is included in the kit worked flawlessly. Not TOO much effort to blend away the excess paint and the areas with the road rash where I smeared the paint over the section (which was about 25% of the front of the car) took little to no real effort to get the job done

Now you see them

Now you do not.

I tried to get my camera to focus in on the defect but it simply could not.

This is extremely cost effective for the customer as he was contemplating a respray. Now he can spend that money on those go fast parts!

We are allowing it to wait a week before applying any wax. Will post some final AFTER pics that will show the areas that it has helped and areas it was unable to fix but was able to diminish the bad appearance.

exactly 2 months later. got to wash the car again and all of the chips have held up even though more new ones have been accrued due to track use. very impressed!

Thanks for the update. I`m still on the fence, I`m really interested in trying Dr. Colorchip but the method I use now works fine. I might give it a try just to compare
