Ok guys. I`m starting college in late September. I have a 2010 Camaro 1LT/RS right now. I live in Indiana so there is a lot of snow during the winter. They also treat the roads with salt. I`m looking for a car that is good on gas, but it has great gas mileage too. I can`t stand a lack in power now that I have drove my car. I`m not looking for anything new either. It doesn`t matter if it is a coupe or a sedan. Any ideas are appreciated. ;)

Subaru Impreza. Good on gas and fun to drive.

Leave the Camaro at home in a safe place. Get a beater you don`t have to worry about. College parking lots are very unforgiving for nice cars.

pick up a used nissan 240sx you can get em cheap and they are still fun rear wheel drive cars that have a fair amount of power and handling. and although they are affordable you wont look like a tool driving a crappy car. imo...not saying YOUR car is crappy, just saying you can have a cheap AND fun car

Yaris FTW... Sorry I couldn`t help myself.

I have a truck for daily driving. Can`t beat Hemi power for daily driving. I`ve found that power and good gas mileage usually don`t go together. I`ve only owned vehicles with V8s though

Buy American made, which rules out about every U.S. car company. :(

I watched ABC last night, they reported that if every American spent a little over $3 on American made goods, it created 10,000 jobs.

I believe a few German companies have factories here, as does KIA, Toyota, Subaru, and others.

That being said, not all of the vehicles made by those companies are made in the U.S.A., and the parts are often made overseas, but many of the work is still done here.

Sorry to be biased toward U.S. jobs, but everyone these days talks about how awful the job market is, but they don`t hesitate to help out China, Mexico, and other non-U.S.A jobs(by buying goods not manufactured here). Bunch of hypocrites...

1994-1999 toyota celica GT or ST st has lack of power though with a whole 115hp and a corolla engine, gt has more power and good gas mileage, handling is very nice even nicer with front+rear strut bars.tis what i drive i love the styling but hate the ammount of power they have execpt the gt-four which you cannot get in the states...
