Not sure if anyone has noticed this or not (....) but there`s some kind of annoying pop-up ads that that come up in threads as one tries to read them.

If you are referring to the ones that pop up when your scroll over certain keywords, this isn`t a new thing. Been doing it for over a year.

It`s only on certain keywords. Scroll over this word ----> Poorboys

How can you make it go away? And if it`s been doing it for over a year, I`ve been pretty clueless.

Okay - maybe I`ve not read any posts with keywords. Is there some sort of user CP setting to make it stop?

I don`t think so. Can you just quit running the cursor over the words as you read?

I guess that`s an option....
It`s not like I can`t see the ads at the top and sides of the page. Embedding them in the text randomly is irritating.

I actually think that the buzzword definitions would have been helpful when I started detailing.

I agree -- it saves noobs from having to look up an acronym list or glossary of terms, it`s right there in the thread/post to which it applies.
