Too bad they did not mention the Yugo. The dealership where I was a mechanic took on this line in the mid 80`s and I have never seen a car where nearly every single piece on it was prone to breakage. That first year we had so many engines torn down that we would just grab a cylinder head off the pile and put it back on which ever car we were working on.

The good thing was the warranty times were good and they all shared the same problems so you knew what was wrong right away.

I meant, try as in make a "real" truck. Not a "truck" on the Honda Odyssey frame/guts. You know - big gas suckin` V-8, takin` up two parking spaces can`t get through the drive-thru truck. A real American truck.

The Ridgeline seems like a more practical El Camino or Ranchero that is no longer on the market. In honesty, I would not think a Honda buyer would care if it was on a real frame or not. It is Honda - it has to be good. If Honda made toilets (do they?), they would have an instant set of loyal buyers.

BTW, where is the El Camino Kid aka something else.

I think it depends on the model. I know for sure the van (Odyssey) is made right here in Alabama.
