I have a question for someone that is a chemical glass expert.
Would leaching of glass in an automobile glass leave ridges in the glass or would this be caused by something else?
This car is an older Volvo with low miles

And at what temperatures does leaching of the glass occur?
:thought:

I have absolutely no idea what you are asking Gus, I even read it twice. Must be my halves-heimers.

I crack myself up, I know I`m only half way there but senility is right around the corner.

Are you talking about having "waves" in the glass?

I don`t know about glass but where I work we infrequently have leaching issues with plastic tanks and bulk drums and there always tends to be some ridges in those drums. And then of course there is another leaching issue with the maintenance department quiting smoking, well at least they quit buying cigarettes anyway.:lol2:

If I had glass with "leeching" I`d think I was having a flash back.
