Hmmmm...I was thinking of a different "50" dimension. :wow: To each his own...I guess.

A set of those would look great on my Corvette and would improve the handling.:lmfao

I don`t know about improved handling, but your perspective would be improved. You could survey the landscape ahead rather than looking at the tailpipe of the guy just ahead of you. ;)

What I remember is all the green Chevies.

So they could hide in the weeds while the Fords went by. :D

I think you realize it`s all in fun.
I have a Corvette and a couple of other GM products in the garage.
I did drive Fords, usually modified, through 1957.
Got tired of watching the Chevies go by and didn`t like green cars so I bought a Chevy in 1959.

That looks retarded! You think so??? :D
The tire store I go to even sells chrome stick-on numbers like 20", 22", 24", etc. so you can advertise the size of the wheels on your vehicle.
The most expensive set of wheels and tires they have sold was a $13,000 package. At least they went on a $40,000 pick-up and not a $600 beater.
It`s not my thing, but they sure do sell a lot of aftermarket wheels.
Lots of single replacements when the buyers find out that pot holes aren`t very good for big wheels and skinny tires.
They even sell special wheel damage insurance for them.
