The past week I have not been able to load this site half the time.

When I have this problem I can go to any site that I want to this is the only one that will not load.

Any one else had this problem.

No, I haven`t had the issue. Hopefully, Troy will halt all new postings and issue a recall until we can get this one issue fixed. :D

I left this site about 2 hours ago and it took several tries to get back on.
I don`t have this problem with any other site.
I could not get this site to load shortly after the switch to new server but then for a while it was ok.

I`ve been having a serious issue with it but got it corrected by altering my DNS Server address.

After posting this thread I hit refresh and it took me 3 hours to load again.

Strange thing is while this site would not load I went down the list of favorites and loaded them one after another.

Every few minutes I tried this site but it would not load.

Strange that I`m the only one having this problem but I can load all other sites other than this one.

You`re not alone. Some can`t post here so you don`t know about them.

If you`re using OpenDNS, revert to "automatic detection of DNS server" at Network Connections Properties. OpenDNS doesn`t work here because the server is too slow to respond.

Make it shine!

I have had trouble loading up the site, but it only happens at work so I figured it was the server at work. I guess your not alone.

It worked fine for several weeks but in the last week it has been a problem loading.

You can try a few things.

Before you proceed with the following list,

Open My Computer
Double click on C: Drive
Scroll to Windows folder and double click.
Scroll to Prefetch folder and double clcik.
Use Ctrl/A to highlight all files
Press DELETE key.
Close all folders.

Proceed below.

1. Disconnect the DSL or Cable link.
2. Power off the modem for 30 seconds (a full 30 seconds).
3. While powered off, reconnect the DSL or Cable link.
4. Power on the modem.
5. Open browser and type in URL bar: http://www.detailcity.org
Enter

It is working fine this morning.
Problem comes and goes most of the time it works fine, don`t see how that would be in my setting but maybe so. :wall
Keep in mind this is the only site that I`m having a problem with.
The old server was much slower than this one but it loaded every time just was slow.
This one is faster when it works.

The site has changed it`s address from .net to .org.
If your hard drive is set to indexing, that can also be causing some intermittent conflict.

Try deleting browser history too.

I been gone nearly all morning but it worked ok early this morning and also now but I never know when it is going to stop loading.
