Just a couple of ??
Using a wax or sealant,are you protecting the clearcoat or the paint?
Are you shining the clearcoat or the paint?
I understand you can protect from uv rays.
what is the best product to protect my rubber seals:wow:
around doors and windows?

You are working on the clearcoat and i use poorboys trim restorer on mine, natrural look also has uv protectant. i have used armour all also.

As Shawn said, you are working on the clear coat this is what needs to be flawless in order for the paint to sparkle. The clear coat is what gives the color "underneath" its shine. BCCC ( base coat clear coat) paint Is a 2 step process, The paint is "dull" when applied to the car and the next coat which is the "clear" is what gives the finish the shine. All the swirls, scratches and marring you see are in the clear coat in most cases, and that`s what needs to be clay-ed, buffed, and cleaned, to give you your finished shiny glassy finished product.

Rubber seals get TR via a foam brush " you can get them from hardware store used for poly coating in paint dept". I also use B&B on rubber door seals and apply via paint brush. I hope this helps...:howdy
