I plan on getting rid of the arcade section when this gets done. Unless of course I hear a great outcry to keep it.

Troy I was talking to Bill(njcarting1) and he said he has tried to access the site from multiple locations in the Portland Maine area and the site is not available from any computer he has tried, He said he copy and pasted the link into the browser and it says site not available. He said that when he googles it he gets the same reply he had tried it from a couple different towns in his area and gets the same reply. Any thoughts on this problem?

TD, make sure he didn`t have the old hosts file fix for the old IP address. If he has an entry in the c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts file for DetailCity.org, he needs to delete that line. Have him go to a command window/DOS prompt, type in ping www.detailcity.org, it should resolve to this IP address: 64.57.208.204

I would suggest that to him if I knew how to translate it into what keys to punch on the keyboard. Thank you for the suggestion, it is just over my head.

I know all the server changing has been pretty irritating for some. I will get the prorammer to look into it.

I just noticed that the clock is off. I checked my edit options page and everything is right there, but the change from GMT doesn`t seem to be taking effect.

Anyone else or just me?

:hmmm: Maybe it`s just our "metric" time that it can`t handle?? I just spent the last half-hour trying different settings & I can not get it to accurately show the time.
FYI - I am typing this at 18:26 MST on Saturday 08/11/09.

This morning I tried to access this site and got a message that the site was not available but about an hour later it worked ok.
I think sometimes their are glitches in the network severs.
