Just thought i would make a quick post and see if anyone has ever worked on a Mini Cooper before?
Hows are the paints on these cars?
Any problems you have run into?
Any suggestions?

I did one a few months back, paint was good - did have a lot of crap that clay pulled out - but this was limited to the back side. I enjoyed doing the car, you will need 4" pads!

They aren`t bad to work on. The materials they are made with are good quality so nothing to look out for.
Not sure why you would need 4" pads but I`m sure there are spots where they could come in handy.

Mini Cooper was purchased by BMW and have they have the quality control over the production. Great cars to work on, I`ve only worked on one but found it no different than any other car I`ve worked on, other than its small inside and hard to move around in

Well you should give the guy a discount since it`s only 1/2 a car.

I got a dark blue Cooper I am doing soon and the car has well over 100k miles, I checked out the paint looked good as new minus some minor swirls. Good cars to work on because they are so small it takes about half the time :)
