So in the past I have bartered for lunch, mechanical work and a couple of computers, but today was a first. I had an appt. for a vasectomy, and during we got to talking and the doc asked if I insurance. It so happens that I do, but if I didn`t the doctor was ready to trade out services, I love America.

In spite of other comments I say smart move on your part. The part that barter is coming back is even better. I have done many things for barter over the past three decades and it has worked out quite well.

I am buying a van to set up as a detailing rig, the dealer who is selling it to me had mentioned maybe I would like to do one detail a month for him instead of a cash payment. I also have a client who agreed to design my website for me if I would detail his boat.

:DI ran into a friend last night who was quizzing me about how I do interiors, When we began discussing carpet extraction I told him I have`nt yet been able to afford a good extractor. He then told me with his carpet cleaning bizz that he has about a dozen fully functional commercial extractors just sitting around, some van mount units and some portable units and offered to sell one to me for a couple hundred dollarsand I immediately offered to barter as he has nine vans and he told me that would work for him that I should give him a call.:D

I`ve gotten dental work done. My snap-on double bank tool box and few tools, Cornwell tools, and a few things painted for my truck all on trade over the past few years.
