Well as some/most of you know......
I washed and waxed my car on the 15th

http://www.detailcity.org/forums/detailers-showcase/26627-rons-last-3-details.html

Then It sat at the airport parking area till thrusday till midnight. From there Friday first thing I had to drive it to my sons graduation in MD. I take 81 thru prnnsylvania, wave at TD as I pass his exit. Then off to hotel parking lot for the night.

As soon as grauation was done, it was on th eroad again.

For those of you who dont know 81 is the deer road kill capitol of the world. It`s also known for bugs !!

So this morning my car is covered with pollen that has been glued to the car with dew/rain/sun. Alos a ton of bugs, and some deer guts that had been kicked up by trculs in fron of me.

Now we`re due for thuinderstomrs off and on all day.

As the same with most of you, my kids me about being ocd about clean cars. Today she tells me go wash my car. But it`s supposed to rain ?!?!?!?

"I don`t care, it`s embarrassing !"

wow

So out with the bug squash, hose buckets etc.

Wash, qd/dry. And of course as soon as it`s all pretty looking again and in it`s newly assigned parking space since kids back from school. IT RAINS !!!

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Well just at that point my wife comes home and starts to laugh. She said, at least the junks off it now. :thanks :help:

Hi Ron...glad to hear you made it home ok. :bigups

As for this situation, I know how you feel. My car got a quick going-over in Philadelphia and promptly got rained on. From then on, it did not get washed again until I got home. Now I had people tell me I take great care of my car and how it still looks brand new. I never really realized how right they are; I figured they said it to be nice. Three weeks without a bath left the paint dull and lifeless and now that she`s clean again, I can`t believe how good she actually looks.

Makes me want to crack out the buffer and get rid of the rest of the light swirls. :inspector:
