I got an email from this gentleman this past week and told me he just picked up this beautiful 2008 Corvette a week prior. So, with an age only of two weeks, it wasn`t dirty at all so I did away with befores, but did manage to get durings (foamed) and afters. He plans to have it maintained every other week and protected every other month. This is just a wash to get a preview of my services and because the car is getting a clear bra installed next weekend, there is no point of waxing if it is going to be stripped off anyways .

Process:
Foam w/ Meg`s HW & ## CWG
Wash w/ Meg`s GC
Wheels/Tires/Wells w/ Meg`s APC 4:1
Bugs w/ SC GD
Windows w/ IG
Tips w/ Meg`s Mag & Al Polish
Tires w/ Meg`s ASD

Nice color and car...what I don`t understand..is why you sprayed the whole car down...with soap...then took pics while the soap is starting to dry on the car...I don`t use a foam gun on cars as small as this...but I work in panels making sure that they are rinsed clean of soap before starting on the next...and I make sure that the whole cars stays wet until I start the drying to keep water spots from forming...that`s just my take

The Corvette is a fun car to work on..

Well, I foam every car I do to minimize swirls and to make a cleaner car for me when I use the 2BM. I rinse the car after I let the foam sit on there for about 30 seconds to loosen dirt then continue with my TBM... doesn`t everyone do that??

I work one panel at a time. Rinse whole car down, start on roof, then hood, then left or right side. I use a pressure washer and two buckets. One for soap and one for rinsing so I do not deposit any dirt in the soap...before I wash the paint though I will clean the wheels and wheel wells first as well as well as the tires (just clean not dressed yet). That way I am sure the grittiest parts are done first and don`t worry about anything getting in my MF mit while washing the paint.

I dry the car with a leaf blower and then follow up with a mf towel to dry. Once dry I will go over the car real quick with Duragloss FCS or PB S&W to make sure I got everything - great for the door jams etc.

Its to each his own on washing the car but I do the same as Groebuck...work in panels starting on the top and working down...if you car is hot or its warm outside the soap sitting on the car could dry and fast.

I do mine the same way but I start the drying with MF towels and finish with the blower to get the water out of the cracks

yeah but thats just a prefoam with my foam gun... thats still before my real wash

sure i work one panel at a time rinsing every new panel and so on, the foam is just to get the loose dirt and crap off the car before my 2BM
