Collinite @ Harbor Freight
Just came from Harbor Freight (10/10/08) - They have Collinite 845 for $7.79 and Collinite 476S for $6.69. No coupon needed.

Free buckets
OK....now that I have all the buckets I need (well, for now anyway ), I can tell my "secret".
Free buckets at Walmart. 5 gallon and 2.5 gallon (I think).
This is only at Super Walmarts.
Go to the bakery, and, nicely, ask them for any empty glaze buckets they may have. They get baking glaze in these buckets and will give the empties to you if you ask nicely. They give them to you with the covers too.
The 5 gallon buckets are perfect for the Grit Guard, it stays on the bottom.
The 2.5 gal buckets are perfect for APC and such.
You`ll have to clean the remaining glaze from the buckets even if they "clean" them first before giving it to you.

I have tried collinite #845 insulator wax and I have to say, it is a really good carnuba wax. The durability is great and it also leaves a good shine to the car.

Amazing stuff and I recommend collinite $845 to anyone. Another really good carnuba is S100, check it out too.

Yeah 845 and 476 are my go to waxes for the winter. My customers love them for durability. Those prices are very cheap!

I think heatgain was referring to getting the buckets from your Super Wal*Mart, right Gary?

Free buckets?

We have cats and use fresh step cat litter. These are rectangular and hold just over 3 gallons. I have collected about 5 now in the last 6 months....If they made a rectangular grit guard.....maybe i could chop of a florescent light baffle...

I saw a rectangular grit guard somewhere! Someone was demonstrating some product and had a rectangular guard and bucket.
This is a helpful post, no? I saw what you need yet don`t know where it was.

:)Send Barney out to find it while he is on patrol.
I wouldn`t mind having a couple that would fit this.

I don`t know if they are nation wide but we have Rural King stores here and they have sales where you buy a 5 gallon bucket for $ 1.79 and everything that you can get in the bucket is 15% off. If you fill the bucket the discount will be far more than the price of the bucket making it free.
I buy liquid detergent soap and things that I would have bought anyway so I have several of these and the grit guard fits snug in them
