I must be insane to take on some of the jobs that I do...

The job:
A Dump Truck Interior (200,000 miles on it... Never been cleaned... used to haul gravel)

After - The best I could do... When something has been neglected for this long, some stains just aren`t going to come out:

Another "after" picture... Think the driver will notice any difference? Why can`t I get Porsches and Mercedes like everyone else? :doh

Took me about 4 hours... This job was a `barter` job... In return for this I received 16 tons of ABC gravel spread on my driveway (value = $110 for the gravel and $65 for the haul and spread fee) - I think I made out rather well considering how dirty it was... ;)

Thanks!
Didn`t have to do the exterior... Thankfully.

Steps:
1. Vac everything! Tossed mats outside and pressure washed them off.
2. With psi turned down on pressure washer - I hit the floors blowing everything out the door.
3. A bucket of hot water and (you guessed it!) SIMPLE GREEN. With numerous rags and brushes, I attacked everything.
4. Cleaned crevices on pedals with a flat screwdriver. Hit the AC vents with Q-Tips.
5. Went over the interior with Stoner`s Trim Cleaner.
6. Water-based dressing with UV protection on vinyl and trim work.
7. Shampooed upholstered seats - Used hot water extractor after shampooing them... Applied Fabric Guard Protection on Seats.
8. Hit all interior glass with Stoner`s Invisible Glass.

And that was basically it... A little nit-picking after the above steps... Being a detailer, I couldn`t help but feel bad that I couldn`t get rid of ALL the stains. LOL
