New Paint

Just had my wife`s MDX have a bumper replaced from a fender bender. The paint looks great, but I am sure it isn`t cured like a factory bake on. Should I put an LSP on now or give it some time to harden first? If it was a new car I wouldn`t hesitate, but I am leary of the cure time on pieces that are painted locally.
