View Full Version : 2000 Subaru w/ nasty water etching !!!

This black 2000 Subaru Legacy needed some serious water spots removed, and was my only project today. The before pictures were taken after the vehicle was hand washed and thoroughly clayed. The process called for:

Hi Temps Heavy Cut Compound w/ yellow wool pad.
Hi temps Heavy Leveler w/ yellow foam pad
Meguiars #82 and blue foam waffle pad.
Sealed with Megs #21 and topped with S100.

All buffing done by rotary…

Good job...but 2000 Subaru Legacy? That looks like an 03+ Subaru Forester to me;)

Nice work as always..CD.....true testament to the power of a rotary, and for anyone that wants to take detailing to the next level to get one and start using it.

CD I still use the cris-cross method on the the rugs that you showed us here some time back

You are probably right. I am completely unfamiliar with the Subaru line. Good catch !!!

WOW....makes me want to go invest in a rotary....they just intimidate me!

I`ve been trying to get get some spots out of my paint....all I have is a PC. Suggestions?
