I`m still building the site for my painter, but I figured since he is being so slow on some of the needed material that I have to have before I can complete it, then I might as well build him one for the work he did on my bike. :) It`s just a quick tribute site that I can link to from his site to let people see some of the work and process that is involved with a superior paint job. What do you think? Do you think he`ll like it?

It`s a pretty simple layout, but it gets the point accross very well. I`m sure he`ll be very pleased with it.

I agree everything looks great. The load time for the images took a long time to load, but then again we probably have a large number of people on the network right now.

The load time is in part due to the size of the files it is loading. Instead of shrinking them down and linking to larger ones, I just loaded the picture once and changed the display size. The image may only appear to be 175x150, but it is really loading as if it were four or five times that size. I just wanted to build it quick so that we could use it for advertising during a time that bikes are starting to come out more often. I can optimize it for speed later. :) The point was just to get the pictures out there, so that was the reason for the simplicity. :) Sites like that can be banged out in a couple hours.
