Today i went to a paint shop in a near town, that I had heard carried Meguiars products and so I asked the owner if I could take a look around to see the products.
From Megs he had, all in gallon sizes, the FI, DACP, Diamond Cut, Speed Glaze, Quick Detailer, #40, some clay and 2 (two) Megs foam applicators (these things are not used here, that`s why I always ask Dwayne to drop in a couple).

The funny part is that he asked me if I knew those (the applicators), and said they were to use with the clay!!! (which should only be used to remove paint over-spray from other cars around the paint shop!).

I told him what were they for and how clay should be used together with the FI.

And he is supposed to be a professional trained salesman.

That`s nothing. I was in a 7-11 the other day and I saw a pack of cigarettes on the counter. There was something written on the side that caught my eye. It said that smoking those cigarettes increased your chances for getting cancer!! Can you believe that?? I showed it to the clerk and asked why on earth he would sell something like that!? They are dangerous!!! Holy cow!! If I had only learned to read the lable before now then I could have saved myself a lung transplant!! The clerk looked at me with a blank stare like I was screaming in itallian or something. Couldn`t he read??? He`s been selling these for who knows how long and he couldn`t even read the package!! He couldn`t even tell me if all the cigarettes had that warning on them. Wouldn`t you think he should know the products he sells? All he could say was "Would you like a beef jerky to go with your slurpee and copy of hustler magazine? Do you require a spoon straw?" What an idiot....

ok... so that didn`t really happen. It is stupid that someone who sells this stuff didn`t even know the proper way to use it though. You would think that you would have to know how to answer questions about all the products you carry if you are going to work there. What an idiot......

My point here was:

He was saying me that the yellow foam applicators were to apply the clay....

Nice analogy Fuzz.

Imagine the guy who is trying to apply a clay treatment to his car with foam pads.
