I should know the answer to this but I`m just looking for some verification here. I want to get up to 3 layers of UPP on the wife`s car before topping it so can I UPP after a QD session with Platinum QD?

When I layer UPP I usually wash with Platinums shampoo . I have never layer`s after only a Qd session.
But
I would say no problem, Qd has a little UPP in it anyway,...

I don`t think you will have problems.
I topped AIO + SG with UPP. Put on 4 layers. I kept the car in the garage overnight, and in the morning, went over the car lightly with PUPP to remove any dust. I had no problems at all with bonding and was amazed at what UPP did for the car.

For what it`s worth.
Lightly misting a finishing pad with PUGE and then applying UPP works good for me. Lets me get real thiiiin coats of UPP. Doesn`t seem to have any bad side effects at all.
