Well, I spent more money.
Was intrigued by this little contraption. LOL
Actually, I was at a friends house washing up his truck, and he had one sitting outside. I used it, and man I had to have one. I have an old, wobbly, wooden step ladder, which now will turn into firewood this winter......

Picked it up from Lowes for @ 36 plus tax. Home Depot had one for 2 bucks less, but were out of stock. Aluminum, so it is very light. And it is folds for easy storage. legs have locks to hold them in place.
Enjoy.....I know I did...hence the pics....

Chris, the money shot, killer! I hope you have the little detailer in traning. LOL
My little girl just turn 6, and she loves my foam gun.
I been looking at them aluminum steps too. I think you made my mine up on them. The ladder that I used for SUVs and trucks is getting rust on it. When using th PC on the roofs of SUVs, I do a part, stop move ladder down start again. And that step, I take it that you just take a few steps.

I did not read the limits but it has held my 300 plus pounds for a few years.

Your welcome, Chris!!! The interior treatment that you did for the truck is like its brand new again. Love the smell that you left behind. Must get with you to keep the fragrance in the truck. LD and I both were happy going to the store this morning.:)

I got this one from Camping World for about $40 with a members discount. They also have gallons of QEW there for I think $26 with a $5 refund...tempting :)

I also think Norah has a similar step which caught my eye and started looking for one.

Hey, I recommended those platform ladders 2-3 years ago here on DC. :) I`m still using mine, and it has held up remarkably well.

Here are some of the old discussion threads, though many of the photo links are long gone :( -

I`ve looked at those over the years, but have held off purchasing. While I see where they can come in handy, two things have kept one out of my garage:

1) Though the packaging lists "slip resistant tread", I only see the "ribbed" areas of aluminum. I would prefer the actual tread material found on some ladders.

2) I have a thing about holding electrical tools (PC/rotary) while standing on an aluminum ladder (or in this case platform) with water on the ground.

Thus I have stuck with my fiberglass ladders.

1. You can add non slip tape really cheap yourself
2. They have rubber pads around and on the bottom of the feet.

I hated going up and down and up and down, only to be about 4 feet.

That definately looks like a convenient tool to have for larger vehicles. Good find Kirk.
