A recent comment about Klasse being overpriced got me to thinking a little.

Is Klasse overpriced in today`s market?
What other products do you use that you feel are a better buy.

I think its a pricey product and there are many products tht are good and cheper but I know for myself that Klasse is worth the money. I have yet to find a product that gives me the same results. I would like to see a drop in price, but hey that wont happen. Hense why I stock up whenever there is a sale on it.
So I would say it is expensive but there isnt a product for me that is as good.

Klasse certainly isn`t cheap, but it isn`t priced that far out of line with other premium product lines. I used AIO and SG for a few years. If durability was my primary concern, I`d probably still be using the combo. However, I`ve moved on to other products offering greater ease of use as well as more subjectively pleasing (to me) aesthetics.

There are dozens of combos that I`d use in lieu of AIO/SG. For polishes: I`d look to Poorboy`s (Pro Polish, SSRs, PwC, PwS), Optimum (Polish; will be trying Poli-Seal later this week), Menzerna (FPII), and Clearkote (VM). For LSP`s, there are lots of sealants that are less finicky than SG. I personally like EX-P and EX, but there are many alternatives depending upon vehicle color and your choice of prep products. I also like a nice carnauba wax for the top coat. Some of my current favorites would be the Natty`s twins, Souveran, Liquid Souveran, Signature, Carnauba Moose, and Trade Secret.

I am not sure if it is overpriced or...if I prefer to speak to the manufacturer. The people that I order from, have products equal to or better than AIO, speak to me personally. I like having a connection with the manufacturer/owner.

I also have to agree with awd330(Marge) that there are a whole host of products from which to choose from that give good protection and shine.

I thouht KAIO was a cleaner wich left a light protection behind that would need a LSP to promote durabiltiy?

Would it be inappropiate to ask what products are of an equal?

Thanks for the offer, but the last thing I need right now is more products to store over the winter. :)
Actually, I probably have enough Klasse AIO on hand to last me several years.

Klasse is a good value in my book. I don`t care for the dispenser, so I keep a 2oz squeeze bottle on hand for polishing duties, and it last a LONG time.

I`ve had Klasse AIO on hand for several years, which I can`t say about a lot of products.

It doesn`t seem to me that it woud be inappropiate to ask about others.

Poorboy`s PwC would be the only thing I have used to any extent and it seems to be comparable for less money.
Meguiar`s Color-X is another product that doesn`t get much credit, but seems to do a decent job as an all in one product.

I`ve had Klasse AIO on hand for several years, which I can`t say about a lot of products. While I had no problem with the orignal container, I did read that they were quite fragile and dropping it would sometimes shatter it.
I now keep several products in 3 oz. fliptop containers that I buy in the cosmetics section of Wal*Mart.
I use a cheap carpenters apron when doing a full detail and several of the small containers will fit in the pockets of the apron.

Like calgarydetail said, I stock up when it`s on sale. People just love when I use the K-twins on there cars. they love that candy coated look.

Although I was not offering, Charles you know that I would send you any product that I have. What I was trying to say is that the products that I now order are from manufacturers that I can speak directly to. i.e. Steve at Poorboy`s.

The product that I use that I think does the same thing but has more corrective properties is Poorboy`s ProPolish, JoeP.

Actually, I didn`t take it that you were offering products. I figured it was information and I didn`t even want to hear about aything new to buy for a while. :)

The product that I use that I think does the same thing but has more corrective properties is Poorboy`s ProPolish, JoeP.While I am a fan of Klasse AIO, I do think that both Poorboy`s Pro Polish and Poorboy`s Polish With Carnauba do a better job of cleaning.
I don`t think the Pro Polish leaves any protection behind. I think it is a cleaner/polish only.
The PwC does leave some protection behind, but since it appears to be carnauba, I was always hesitant to use the PwC under a sealant. It does work great under S100 or P21S Carnauba.
The new Polish With Sealant should be a winner when Steve feels it is ready to bring to market.

Mea culpa, Charles.

I do know the feeling about not wanting to purchase any new products though.
