This is the first time I dug into cleaning a motor so don`t laugh!! IThis is my 95 Grand Prix with a 3.1 V6 with 61,000 miles on it and looked like it was never cleaned before. I used 1:2 Purple Power and Black Magic Dressing. Dont mind the coolent bottle that will be later. you did a nice job! It really didn`t look that bad beforehand. I myself have used those ebay filters int he past, and yes they actually do increase performance and gas mileage!

No offense but that filters giving you less power than the stock one. It might have less restriction but its sucking in hot air from the engine compartment. Cooler denser air yeilds more power. Im sure it sounds cool but, build a heat sheild around it then youll have something.
Looks clean under there anyway.

In all honesty, the car`s feeli9ng a negligible effect either way. Besides, unless he`s running ported heads or nitrous or a blower or something, it won`t matter. CAIs are overrated. It looks alot better though.

Looks great. I`m still scared to touch my engine.
The warm air intakes performance is about the same as a cold air intake. It`s been tested side-by-side. I have the Berk V2 WA intake with an AEM cone filter on it. I LOVE IT!
