First thought on this Toyota: what major car manufacturer STILL makes and offers a manual transmission in a car? Kudos to Toyota for doing that and the technology for rev-matching.

The "scary" part of this detail? The 3.1 mils reading on the paint thickness and that reading is pretty "thick" by today`s paint production standards. From what we`ve all seen and you detailers have verified with PTG readings is that new-vehicle production paints are pretty thin. it`s a concern and I do not think that the average new-vehicle owner or newer-used vehicle (lease returns these days) owners who plan to keep these vehicles for a number of years (5 or more) are aware of that fact and how can (and will) impact the appearance of their vehicle down the road. (Get off the soap box, Captain Obvious! We know that.)

Great detail, Sizzle Chest! Even "pedestrian" vehicles greatly benefit from your detailing skills and I appreciate the fact, as you have told us before, that you treat them just like the many exotic and thoroughbred sports cars that you detail. It shows!!

Very kind, but true, words on the material and build-quality of Toyota. Having personally owned two of their cars in the 80`s (MR2 and All-Trac Camry)and now detailing some neighbor`s high-mileage Toyota`s and Lexus`, they are great cars to detail and because of that inherent quality, it is easier to make them "look good", even with a lot of miles on them.

On a completely different note: Did you just get a new shipment/supply of Adam`s Polishes car-care products in??
The list of various Adam`s products used on this particular detail is quite "extensive". Are these Adam`s products supplanting/replacing McKee`s 37 product-equivalent you used in the past? I assume you just received them and wanted to try them out. OR maybe you had them for a while on the back shelf and this was a good opportunity to try them out (again). (No, I am NOT implying "try them out (again)" means "use them up" on a "pedestrian" car)

Thanks Lonnie! I too was impressed with this vehicle. Very cool car.

I have had them for some time and use them in my work, however, now I have been listing them all in one line instead of multiple mentions of same brand/different products.

Thanks again!
